This is really simple. I just can't understand why ALIAS() and DBF() are not the same. I do the following:
OPEN DATABASE admin
USE table
MESSAGEBOX('Alias: '+ALIAS()+CHR(13)+'DBF: '+DBF()))
It gives me table as the first line and d:\mydir\mydata\controlfile.dbf. This is non sense. Is there a corruption in the DBC?
