[snip] If what you and others are looking for is whitepapers and samples to help a VFP learn .NET, then you will be glad to hear that we are busy working on some great new material that will be released in August - stay tuned.
Just adding to that, VFP developers willing to lear .NET from a VFP perspective have two specific books on the Topic:
Kevin McNeish's
".NET for Visual FoxPro Developers"and
Les Pinter's "VFP to VB.NET", for which I acted as Technical Editor (link in my signature).
If I have to choose, I will choose both <s>. Seriously, I think Kevin's is more in-depth and analytical, with a wider approach, while Les' is more hands-on, focused on the typical small desktop VFP application.
The first is a bit more complex, while the second one is more basic. Indeed, Les even cover a lot of VFP techniques toghether with VB.NET techniques.
