i am using newid() for getting increment ID number for parent-child table records. on my form related tables and allso allready ids.dbf on Dataenvironment and buffermode set is 5. sometimes for eg. last IDnumber is 19 when press new button on my toolabar IDnumber begins from 18 etc. why ? how is the best using method this newid() .

PS: by tablerevert situations i've use tablerevert(2,.t.,'parent.dbf') and tablerevert(2,.t.,'child.dbf') but never use for ids tablerevert(2,.t.,'ids') command. is my problem from reason ?
