Yes it is feasible with VFP8 and also with previous versions. It all depends onthe system architecture.

That is a hard question to answer. It depends on what are you looking for. You have to try and study different frameworks before you can decide. You have to be comfortable with their architecture, style and limitations. You must understand that a framework will heavily influence what your programs look like and are capable of doing in your future projects. So you must approach this decision with care.
