Right-click on the field object for the column...
in the pop-up menu, select "Format Field" to open the Format Editor window...
on the "Common" tab, open the formula button for suppression...
you must enter a boolean expression that results to TRUE when you want the field suppressed, and results to FALSE when you want the field to show.
