My son just got a new Laptop with XP Home. I normally reformat the HD instead of upgrading an OS (I want to install XP Pro). Since this Laptop has only been started once and never used, I would prefer just to update to XP Pro instead of doing a reformat. Anyone have any thoughts on this, or gotcha's I need to work around? Or is this a bad update.
