>I have a problem with a foxpro 2.6 memo field that keeps growing. The table only contains 10,000 records, but now the memo field is taking 722 MB of disk space. I think it has something to do with an overnight process that packs the database. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem.

Have you tried PACK MEMO?
