Yes, thanks. I've used CDO before, for example in a Visual FoxPro application, where I instantiated CDO objects directly. CDO is based on COM, so the type library has to be translated into metadata that the Common Language Runtime can use. I see more or less how I could use CDO directly in an ASP.NET web page, but I'm trying to go through the System.Web.Mail namespace, and it's not finding the CDO classes on my local machine.

By the way, my local PC is Windows XP, the local web server is IIS, and I'm using Visual Studio 2003 to develop the app.

Guess I'll ask the tech support people at by ISP...
