It is. It came out long ago, but has since been reissued in Trade edition.
The three books are "The Summer Tree", "Wandering Fire", and "The Darkest Road".

Kay has also written a number of "Historical Fantasies". The guy is a superb writer and just about anything he puts out is worth reading.
In fact, as good as I think Fionavar is, his subsequent books just keep one-upping themselves.
His 'Sarantine Mosaic' is magnificent ("Sailing to Sarantuim", and "Lord of Emperors").
