I am happy that it helps.

Please consider my article only as a starting point - to show you how to do it. I wrote it only for that purpose, and it is not meant to be a complete solution.

A note about the time:

In Bata/Bolivia, I compared the time, on startup, with the time on the server (create a file on the server and check its time of update - this will be the the time on the server).

If there were more than 10 minutes difference, I didn't let the user login to the system.

This was to avoid the time being wrong BY ACCIDENT. If there is danger of users changing the time ON PURPOSE (to fool the audit system), you must check more often.
