If you mean, will it be slow to add records to the audit table, I didn't have problems with that. Basically, you are just adding one record for each change. The audit table doesn't even have to be indexed, but it shouln't be a problem if it is.
One thing you have to be aware of: the audit table has the tendency to grow faster than any other table. That means that it can be difficult to make regular backups of the audit table (for this reason, I transferred data to a historical table, regularly - keeping audit information for only the last 2-3 months). It also means that you might eventually approach the 2 GB limit, inherent to VFP. Of course, it all depends how many changes are done.
