This is never, never, never, never going to happen. Since the first day Ken began working in his current position at MS, he has consistently stated that VFP will be marketed to current VFP developers.
I was doing a search on MSDN last week and came upon a page that lists all of MS tools. The top section was their current state-of-the-art technologies, and down below was a section called "other technologies". Which section do you think VFP was listed in.
VFP is being maintained for the benefit of people such as the folks who participate in this forum.
It is not being maintained for the purpose of creating a world-class, using current technologies, development tool. That is for .Net.
Why is it so hard for some folks to understand that MS is providing a nice BIG window for VFP developers to learn other technologies? In particular, .Net.
