I have an error handler, but it doesn't appear. Its only coming from the report builder error handler. Modifying & Saving, its ok only when I select the New button....

1. I didn't say that the error message you saw was coming from your error handler. I said that your error handler might somehow be suppressing an *earlier* message, which is the one I quoted to you (file in use).
2. As for whether the error message you *are* seeing is from the report builder, please confirm the details of the actual text, as I asked you earlier <s>. The exact message you reported is *not* coming from the report builder, I am guessing at the exact message and have asked you to confirm.
3. If you indeed reported the exact message correctly before, it is *not* coming from the report builder. (I have already told you how to check this.) It must be coming from the Report Designer. Although I cannot reproduce it exactly (possibly because an earlier error is being swallowed, see #1) I would be very surprised if it is not due to a bug in the public beta build, which I have already described to you, having to do with reports of the name "untitled.frx". This bug has been fixed.

4. As I said before, your code does have a bug in it. GETFILE() returns in uppercase. So you are not in the CASE you think you are in when you run this program and try to modify a report of a name containing the value "Untitled". However I do not think that this bug affects what we are talking about here.
