Jason,

You sure do have plenty of ideas! And MOST are VERY useful! This is strange...

I posted another problem where I'm trying to install my MM app as a client-server app and it has similar problems instantiating data environment objects too. The initiallyselectedalias and cinitiallyselectedalias properties (say those real fast with a mouth full of marbles!) are both blank inside the GetDataAccessObject code? This really concerns me simply because I need to get this client/server thing working before the end of the month or the "you-know-what" is going to hit the fan (hint: doesn't smell too good!).

Anyway, I've trapped the client/server problem, I just don't understand WHAT IS IT I have trapped! I've even passed the alias to the business object requery method and the GetDataAccessObject STILL doesn't see it? Very, very confusing and frustrating to say the least...

If any of this rings a bell, let me know J! Thanks.

As far as the groupmembersenvironment de...I found it in my application, but it's not in Kevin's projmgr project? The group user stuff works perfectly fine in his demo application. That's a little confusing to me. Like I said, I rebuilt the userenvrionment, but it doesn't seem to keep the group stuff from blowing up.
