Hi Craig,
In my reply to Hilmar I did mention that I could have had it wrong and that it might have been SAP. But the news item definitely mentioned 19,000, not 1,900, and that's what perked me up. I don't hear peoperly and they don't read well < s >
I'll read your reference.
Thanks for the correction. I'll have to make sure that I listen more carefully next time.

http://news.com.com/SAP+to+double+programming+staff+in+India/2100-1012_3-5295529.html?tag=nefd.top where it says SAP will hire 1,900.

>>Just heard a short news item that stated that MS was setting out to hire 19,000 more software developers in India, to complement the thousands already there!
>>
>>So there's 19,000 (more) people HERE (U.S. and Canada) who will be in the lineup for another McJob and spending all their hard-earned dough at WalMart!
>>
>>Gotta love that globalization and that PURE capitalism that has NO REGARD for social impact nor valuing original source of wealth nor 'loyalty' nor anything but that next buck saved, no matter how!

>>I suppose they gotta pay for those nice big new dividends somehow.
