Hi all,

I have an application that features a ListView with more than 5000 items (and growing up...), with each item having 6 columns (sublistitem).
This application offers a shortcut so the ListView can shows only a subset of the existing items.

This is working nice, but while the application remove the unwanted items, the ListView control calls its internal refresh method wich renders in a very slow processing.

The question is: There is a way to "lock" the ListView object, remove the items and then "unlock" the object in order to avoid the refreshes ?
