Thanks for the reply Simon. I basically created a new project added 1 table with two fields, the PK is numeric 10.0 the other is a character field.

I set the default value of the PK to PrimaryKey("table1"). In another project I did not set the default value for the Primary key and just let CodeMine set it by default. But in both cases I get the uniquenes error. I have also seen the same unique key in the grid on the forms when I get the error. The apps are running on two different workstations.

The key field is Numeric 10 no decimals.

The value of the counter is 3231 which is also the value of the last record in the table.

The counter length is 10 the counter format is Decimal (Base 10).

>Is the table in the default AppData.dbc or some other dbc?
The table is in the default AppData.dbc.
