I'm trying to comfigure a new server to run WebServices. When I try and run a soap client I get the message:

"The download of the specified resource has failed."

I've set the .wsdl app mapping, I've check directory rights and I just can see whats wrong.

If I put a .HTML file in the same foldes I can see it in IExplorer useing http://localhost/webservices/test.html

When I try the same with http://localhost/webservices/helloworld.wsdl
I get "HTTP 500 - Internal server error". I'm tearing my hair out! anyone got any ideas?

PS. this is a vanilla HelloWorld setup and it works fine in Soap Client and IExplore on my development machine!
