I presume that you mean dial as in connect using phone line, in which case have you considered PCAnywhere? you can set up scripts and automatically ftp information. if you add in a scheduler that only calls pcanywhere at night time that should do it. vfp code could be scheduled to run after the other bits and pieces have run.
