Right, the one way I am running the form is by "do main" and then I have a menu/toolbar option of 'doform("formname")'. The other way is from the command window with "do setX; lform=createobject'formname'); lform.show". What I couldn't understand (and still don't, but I re-created the form so it's no longer an issue) is that the form was displaying in a different size via each method, which was not what was showing in the visual design window.

I hadn't touched frmMembers.lSavePosition, as at the moment I don't care one way or the other whether the form's position is saved, so I'm just taking whatever the default is.

I still have the old form around, so will try putting a breakpoint in frmMembers.RestorePosition and see what happens. But, for whatever reason, I think that what was being executed was not what was showing in the design window, so I suspect that setting a breakpoint there won't be recognized. It's almost like in the old days when you'd change the .PRG outside of Fox, and the old .FXP was still being executed, and you couldn't figure out why your changes weren't taking. Only, I thought there was no longer a .FXP equivalent when running a form, whether or not from a class.

Thanks for the help.
