Hi all,
Doing a conversion of database from Oracle to Sql Server. We normally connect via remote views to the Oracle database. In the DBC, we use a connection string to connect to the database.
When changing the backend to Sql server, we just changed the connection string and thought that the remote views would work straightaway.
However, this was not the case and we found that the only way thru is to recreate the remote views.
Is there something I'm missing here?
