We have an AS400 and have recently began using VFP for reporting. This is the best of both worlds for us. All our AS400 user interface has been "GUIized" and one would be hard put to know it was an AS400 application. Having worked in both environments, I would take the reliability and security of the AS400 over Windows any day. That aside, it's more fun to develop in VFP!
