We have an unusual situation with an application that will run in an environment in which it will be required to set the session timeout to 15 minutes. However, from an application perspective we believe the users may need more time than this on some forms before posting. Any suggestions on how to mitigate this?

We have considered some sort of auto-postback mechanism that would automatically post the form and repaint it every X minutes. But not only would this be ugly and undesirable, we're also not sure of how to appropriately implement such a solution.
