The relationships really depend on the tables being available. I use SQL when the data to be manipulated is small and can be managed or when I need to be able to switchout the backend.

I could set up relationships in the BeforeOpenTables of the DE or run SQL to create the subsets and then use SEEK or LOCATE to be where I need to be. How best to determine which is better? Or I wonder if doesn't really matter? Maybe it's just preference and what is most familiar.

Most of our primary application does not use relationships, but I'm creating a new module where it looks to me it could be useful.
