I have a client who is experiencing significant slowdown issues when accessing tables on their server. Granted, one of the tables in 41MB with 178,000 records, but even in our offices, we only experience a delay of 8 sec when opening it (compared to their 3 minutes). The client is a large pharmaceutical company, and so, they do have quite an advanced network with a lot of traffic, however, I feel that this should not cause a 2500% slowdown. I was just wondering if there are any slowdown issues with VFP 6.0 that are solved / improved in later versions of VFP ?
