When you ran VALIDATE DATABASE did you specify the RECOVER option?

>So the problem more precisely. I have a database with some table in it. I have to "validate" the database programaticaly. I have a table which is deleted by the user accidentally. If I issue VALIDATE DATABASE, it doesnot remove the reference for this table, but REMOVE TABLE cannot remove the reference, because it generates an error, stating that file doesnot exist.
