The problem I have with grids when using SET RELATION is that the scroll bars don't work properly. The position of the thumb relates to the entire table, not the related data.

>Interesting. Not sure if that's easy to determine. I will have a couple grids on the form with some detailed information in textboxes, etc. and the reports will have summary and detail information. I could set up relationships in the BeforeOpenTables of the DE or run SQL to create the subsets and then use SEEK or LOCATE to be where I need to be. How best to determine which is better? Or I wonder if doesn't really matter? Maybe it's just preference and what is most familiar.

>>>I can easily use either one to display information on a form and in reports, but is there a compelling reason to choose one over the other? Are there situations where one is better than another? Most of our primary application does not use relationships, but I'm creating a new module where it looks to me it could be useful.
