I have been using Foxpro since the early 80s. I eventually started using VFP regularly when 3.0 came out. I worked with the earlier version of VFP but didn't put anything into production. To be honest, I learned the most when I changed employers and we had three other programmers that had never used Foxpro before so my employer paid for onsite training with TakeNote. Lucky for me I could select the training company. We took two classes, the beginning and a combined INT/ADV class and I learned more during those two classes then in all the years I used it previously. I highly recommend you check into training or at least the manuals. I believe the training materials can be purchased separately and they walk through the entire process.

It is definitely worth the cost.
