Well Tracy, whatever it is that eventually comes your way I wish you the best. Sounds like this one is going to be relatively "tame" compared to others in the past.

>Not entirely true. Tropical Storm Bonnie is not due to arrive here until the middle of the night/early tomorrow morning. We have already had strong winds, lots of rain, and 3 tornados in our state. More fun tomorrow with Bonnie and Saturday when Charley gets here. In the past when we were in the worst part of a hurricane we actually received the least damage. It's the ones that skirt us or when we are on the fringes of it that seem to do the most damage it seems from heavy rains causing flooding and downed trees as well as tornadoes. Doesn't look like this will be anything like Hurricanes Fran, Floyd, and Hazel though -- thank goodness! One Hurricane we received 11 inches of rain. Surprisingly, we have survived a LOT of rain in the past from hurricanes but it took just a summer storm to cause the most damamge near my home:
