As I wrote, the code worked in FPD26. In VFP, try to send the eject command to a file in stead of NUL:

set printer to junkfile.jnk
eject && to 'eat' the formfeed command
set printer to
eras junkfile.jnk && to avoid any 'overwrite file junkfile.jnk' prompts
