I suggest that you do NOT save image in a field in a VDP table, a much better solution is to save the images in separate files, and store the file name (plus path if you have many pictures) in a field. It's a much more flexible solution, and you will not suffer from memo field bloat. Personally I prefer ImageMan for the scanning.
