I don't know, really.
It seems to me that the message indicates a problem with the height, and not with the width.
There may be problems with the fact that a non-printable margin may occupy additional space.
What are the units for PAPERLENGTH, etc.? Hundreds of an inch, perhaps? Sorry, but I never played with these values.
