The code is not dieing anywhere. I've traced it and it doesn't get to the catch portion of the try/catch block. I created a new report that uses an ado.net dataset so there wouldn't be ODBC connection in it. The everyone group on the server has full control over the folder where the report is. However, there is not a write permission on the Virtual folder in IIS. I don't know if IIS would override Windows or not. What do you think?

If you initially designed your report using tables from SQL and you're 'overriding' that at runtime with datatables you've created, you need to do a setdatasource for every table defined in the report. (If you designed the table using an XML schema, and if there's no remnants of any SQL login connection info in the report, then this one probably isn't relevant)
