No. Microsoft couldn't re-create my original problem which was with the following:
COPY TO (lctemp) TYPE DELIMITED WITH TAB
However, they did acknowledge that there was a bug with the command you listed below. They closed my issue and since I used different code to overcome this, I haven't heard anything else since.
