Well, I am losing my marbles. Friday I had changed my color depth to 16-bit as a test, to show something to someone. I forgot to change it back. ;)

Thanks for the link...as soon as I saw the words "color depth" I knew I had done it. Cache might be corrupt, like you said, because the icon should show different even in 16-bit color. At least I think it should.
