Jeffrey,

I'm unsure of what kind of integration you're looking for. Are we talking about using VFP middle-tier objects with Cold Fustion, or simply using a VFP DBC and/or free tables as a data source?

I haven't used Cold Fusion in 7 years, however one of the things I found easy right out of the box with Cold Fusion 1.0 was querying, updating and inserting data in either a DBC or free tables via ODBC. I found the process much more painful with ASP classic when it came time to replace Cold Fusion. ASP classic and it's ADO implementation wasn't nearly as smooth as Cold Fusion 1.0 and eventually 1.5 were for me, but the company I worked for at the time didn't want to pay for a Y2K compliant version of Cold Fusion. As a result, I learned how to write com objects in VFP to replace the Cold Fusion implementation with ASP classic (thanks to Rick Strahl's article on how to do so).

Can you be more specific on the requirements of VFP with Cold Fusion?

regards,

JE
