FYI, I've read the other posts. I've used CommTools since 2.6, then 5.0 and 6.0 and 7.0 and now 8.0. It has been a rock solid product, but there were some changes to the programs from 5.0 to 6.0 I believe. They were minor changes dealing with validating the version of CommTools.

I think you mentioned it happened on W2000 and XP. I think it would be necessary to look into the exact code and how the pump is being started. I don't believe there is enough information to answer the question. My first question would be, "What changed to create the delay?". You thought it might be XP, but it also happens on W2000. Something else has changed. Or has there always been a 10 second delay that they want to get rid of?
