Did you make sure that you build your object as a COM object by inclduing the OLEPUBLIC clause on your object? If you moved this to the server, realize that you'll have to register the object (if you built it on the same machine it will be automatically registered).

Otherwise you'll need to provide a lot more information on what you're actually doing especially which steps you left out on the tutorial.
