I am wondering if to play AVI file from the web a person needs to have anything installed on their pc. Hopefully I will find the answer on the site but please, if you have a moment, let me know if you need your customers to have something installed on their PCs.

Nothing needs to be installed. We have a mix of WinXP, Win2000, NT4, Win98 and all have been able to play the AVI's with just basic Windows Media player that was installed. The demo is fully functional, try out a few short videos and see if your clients can play them.

The files get big really fast. You'll want to make your screen as small as possible and lower the audio as low as you can stand. I have very few text help files anymore, since I use this for both training and help file creation. A picture is worth a thousand words, but a video...
