Good morning Borislav;

Thank you for your response. The report textbox does not have an Opaque option as does a Form. I am using VFP 6.0 at work. Do later versions have this option for a report?

I just tried to delete the FoxUser files with the hope that would resolve the problem. However that did nothing to solve the issue.

It seems strange that the textbox background color appears in design mode but not in preview or print modes. That must be a clue! :)

The fact that I can no longer create a Report with the option of using a colored background seems to indicate that something has been corrupted. The question is what?

Any other suggestions?
