Another thing...you aren't by any chance using the NOWAIT clause when you run the report?

>there is a grid but the grid cursor is not what is selected per the error report. It is a table that is the data sorce for a number of text boxes on the form. I will try setting focus to something else and see what happens. I'll let you know what happens.
