Ok, here is another question. Is it possible to run a local EXE and access the data through a drive mapping created by a terminal service session?
For example, a user is Arizona has the client version of our software installed on her laptop. She connects her laptop to her cable modem and connects to our file server through terminal services. She then runs our client software which uses the data through a drive mapping to this remote server. Is this possible? Will this scenario help the speed of the processing any? An I totally missing the point? ;)
