A long time ago I put this in the wish list here at UT, to add a NOSAFETY clause to all the command that respects SET SAFETY. Setting safety on and off all the time is a true PITA. I would prefer something like for instance COPY TO FILE mynewfile NOSAFETY to mean copy disregarding the safety setting, just do it.
