Bob and Rick,

Thanks for the advice. I'll look for a (free) SMTP component to use in place of System.Web.Mail.

>>I'm trying to use the class System.Web.Mail.SmtpMail in an ASP.NET WebForm to send e-mail from the web server. My application works on my ISP's web server, but not on my local one. I get an error saying "Could not access 'CDO.Message' object." I do have CDO installed on my PC. Apparently, I need to do something to configure .NET to use CDOSYS. What might that be?
