Thanks Sergey, that solution did work. I tried to get a bit more granular and attempt to set themes = .F. all the column level for only those columns that required a forecolor change. That did not work. I like the soft focus look of the xp themes. If you have a sugggestion to achieve the soft focus look, let me know
