> Again, here with another of my "terrible questions". I'm working on an application which needs to create PDF files from reports. As I have Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional, I have not problem Creating the PDF files from the application in my computer, but, It will be a problem to make it work on the the computers of the company owner of the application, 'cause they have not Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional, and, if they decide to buy it, it will be for just one computer. Is there an individual free version of Adobe PDF Printer for support to programmers?. What can I do in this case? or, How can I extract Adobe PDF printer from my Adobe Acrobat 6.0 Professional CD?

Onelio -
I somehow feel someone has mentioned 'this' to you before -
but
you can make
ONE computer [uno computadores]
a report 'system'
and have all of your
report requests from your application
go
to
that computer.
its not something simple
nor is it complicated
but ? if 'that' company is going to buy Adobe 6.0 Professional anyway ? why not ?

in essense -
you have a subsystem for all reports - callable from any OTHER computer -
that captures all parameters for 'that' real time report,
and 'that' report is generatated on the computer that has the Adobe license installed, in a queue fashion .

There were a few white papers written about this - have you had a chance to review what came out since 1998 ??
warmest regards [Bill]

ps - some cute metrics -
is your app for 'one computer, one license, one printer, one entity' ?
if so - then its no big deal .
lets assume, though, for the moment, that its NOT for One Computer at One Place. But for MANY computers at ONE Place.

Big Deal - you are sharing a network queue. Did you program for 'that' - or are you just hoping all will be ok ?
----
let me know your thoughts - and my apologies if I sound too harsh with my perception of your 'solution'
