Heya Terry -
verbiage is cool
dis one ? -> 'An autorespond game back suggestion that they may be too busy'
for MS always equates to
'Sorry - we don't support that anymore in this webspace'
It hasn't worked 'right' for the last 18 months - regardless of who complains and regardless of who makes an attempt to fix it. You got bug reports ? You will never get them out, sorry matey. Ken Levy doesn't talk to the MS WebMaster and get WebSpace Allocated for Visual FoxPro Bug Reports. I've been used to it since the beta of 8. BOHICA, you should too.

I would suggest to you that you fax it[your bug report] or postal mail it[your bug report] to Ken Levy. http/email interfaces for bug reports obviously do not work at MS for VFP, and have NOT worked reliably since the release of VFP 8 beta.

In the mean time, if I were some MS weanie, I'd bring back Beth Massi to 'fix' the bug posting issue .

big mondo PS -
all of this could be fixed, of course, if Ken Levy decided to stay proactive about web space at MS and B|TCH every single time the 'next intern' decided to 'optimize' [read change da urls] for the VFP Bug Reporting / Dr. Watson reporting stuff. It'd be an easy thing in VFP -
write an app that points to the url that SHOULD BE - and send out 400 emails / pages when the 'url' went away ...
hint hint - nudge nudge ... but - my apologies if it ain't Ken dat be 'da Man' .. Should it be someone above him ? should it be some one below him? either way, and regardless, it fell through the cracks and spewed SPLAT on your pavement. You clean it up, Mr. Thurber, ah ?
--------------
but - hindsight is a cruel mistress, ah ? for last 18 months - the hierarchy of MS 'land o web 'has changed at least 9 times. Near as I can measure, with my cutesy artsy fartsy little ol web browser product - for 7 of those 9 times, MS did not change the VFP bug reporting site before I found out the MS site had changed.
For Those TWO TIMES MS changed it at the same time of changing the web space (please read in 'jump url' here] - I was glad of the 'POSTED' change.

what vers/sp of VFP product were you 'working on' at the the time o yer blow up?
