Thank you so much for you help. I am encountering another problem and need some more help. I can't get it to work on a different form. When the form is loaded no record is selected. The label shows nothing which is okay. When I select a project# from a search field, it loads up everything correctly with the exemption of the label. The label reflects the address of the 1st record ever entered in the primary table instead of the value in the addr1 field. Uh!!!!! I have tried all morning and I give up. It is time to consult the experts. :-)
