That certainly would not be fair to anyone who has actually purchased the book. It also would not be fair to Whil who invested a lot of money to publish the book. Finally, even though my primary motivation for writing was not the money, it is still nice to get the 25 cents an hour that my royalties amount to.

I do post a fair number of excerpts from both books in response to questions that are posted in this forum. Presumably you are being paid to implement this solution. If you are employed by someone else, your employer should be willing to purchase a resource that will save you many of hours of work. If you are an independent consultant, I assume that you will be billing your client for your time < s >.
