Most problems you might find with XP SP2 are firewall-related. Therefore you may have to mark VFP as excluded if you do some kinf of outside connectivity with VFP.

VFP8/9 have been tested vigorously against XP SP2 by Microsoft (I don't know if they tested previous VFP versions). They found no major problems.
